Natuashish Airport is the sole scheduled air link for the fly-in-only Innu community of Natuashish (pop. ~856, 2021 census; no road or rail access), served by Air Borealis DHC-6 Twin Otter flights on its Goose Bay-Rigolet-Postville-Makkovik-Hopedale-Natuashish-Nain coastal network. Air Borealis is a joint venture of PAL Airlines with Innu Development LP and the NGC Nunatsiavut Group, formed in 2017 from the merger of Innu Mikun Airlines and Air Labrador. The gravel strip is owned by the Mushuau Innu First Nation but operated by the province, and uniquely among Labrador's 12 provincial community airstrips is exempt from the standard $40 landing/terminal fee.
