Operating hoursCivil-military shared airfield (originally a PLA Navy training field, opened to civil traffic 1991); no published H24 designation or curfew found — scheduled commercial flights operate roughly 06:30-23:30 local per published seasonal timetables. International/regional arrivals and departures are cleared through customs, health/quarantine, border control and security only during T2's staffed hours tied to scheduled international flights; PPR likely applies to non-scheduled/GA traffic given the shared military use, though no public PPR notice was located.
TerminalsTwo: T1 domestic terminal (16,379 sqm, opened 20 January 2009 — some secondary sources round this to roughly 18,000 sqm; note the AIRFIELD itself is older, opened to civil traffic in 1991, but this terminal building is not) and T2 international/regional terminal (13,436 sqm, opened 19 December 2014 following the airport's approval as an open international port of entry on 31 July 2014); domestic departures/arrivals and international/regional departures/arrivals are each processed through separate customs, quarantine, border-control and security lanes on T2's second (departure) and first (arrival) floors.

Airport contact
Single-runway 4D-class regional airport (upgraded from the original 2,500m/4C configuration via a 2015-2017 runway-extension project that took the runway to its current 3,000m length and was flight-tested and returned to service on 13 November 2017) serving Yiwu's globally significant small-commodities wholesale trade plus the wider Jinhua urban area. The airfield dates to a 1991 PLA Navy field opened to civil traffic, but the current T1 domestic terminal is a distinct, later building, opened 20 January 2009 — the two dates should not be conflated. CAAC's 2025 bulletin put annual passengers at 3,684,507 (+8.3% y/y), continuing from the airport's first-ever 3-million-passenger year in 2024 (crossed 15 November 2024); a national-rank figure of 56th for 2025 is plausible given a confirmed 2023 rank of 57th on 2.966M passengers, but was not independently verified against the primary CAAC bulletin. Runway 02/20 carries a published localizer (108.7 MHz per third-party flight-data tables) but no confirmed glideslope/full ILS — treat non-precision/LOC-only minima as the operating assumption pending primary AIP confirmation, since eAIP China (eaip.caac.gov.cn) is access-restricted and not independently mirrored. Approach control for YIW was folded into Hangzhou approach's jurisdiction from 25 December 2025 (confirmed via primary-adjacent Chinese sourcing). International/regional service is limited to two scheduled passenger routes as of 2025 — a resumed Yiwu-Hong Kong link (Hong Kong Express) and a resumed Yiwu-Nha Trang, Vietnam route (Vietjet, restarted late December 2025); Osaka and Manila appear in available 2024-2025 sourcing only as Yiwu's all-cargo route destinations, not passenger routes — do not carry them forward as past passenger destinations without further primary confirmation. This remains fundamentally a domestic/regional feeder airport, not an international hub, despite the international terminal and CIQ facilities. A materially larger, separate 4E dual-runway Jinyi International Airport greenfield project has long been discussed in provincial planning and is confirmed still in the site-selection/environmental-assessment stage as of mid-2026 (multiple candidate sites reported, none finalized), intended eventually to replace this airport as the Jinhua-Yiwu conurbation's hub; it had not broken ground as of — do not confuse it with this existing single-runway Yiwu Airport. A separate, smaller expansion of THIS existing airport (runway to 3,400m, upgrade to 4E) targeted for completion around 2027-2028 appears in provincial planning references but was not independently verified.
