Ulukhaktok (formerly Holman) is a remote Inuvialuit hamlet of roughly 400 people on the west coast of Victoria Island in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, renowned for its printmaking tradition introduced by Oblate missionaries in the 1930s-40s. The gravel airstrip, opened in 1978, is the community's only year-round link to the outside world, served by Canadian North (via Kugluktuk/Yellowknife) and Aklak Air/Kenn Borek Air (via Inuvik).
