No scheduled airline service is operating as of September 2026. Danish Air Transport's Pécs-Munich ATR 72-600 link (launched 30 Mar 2026 twice weekly, Mon/Thu, under the German virtual airline Skyhub PAD which coordinated the route into Lufthansa's network via a codeshare from May 2026) collapsed within about ten weeks: Skyhub PAD - not DAT itself - suspended the route from 10 Jun 2026 and entered insolvency proceedings, citing a roughly 250% rise in kerosene costs since January 2026 and high fixed costs at German regional bases; a bama.hu retrospective dated 11 Aug 2026 ('Nagy remeny, gyors csod...') put total ridership at just 1,227 passengers before the shutdown, with no relaunch confirmed since. This is the second such collapse after Universal Air's Malta/Munich/seasonal-Corfu network wound down in spring 2025, following about a ten-month gap before DAT's 2026 launch. The single 1,500 m runway (PCN 38/F/B/W/T; commonly cited locally as roughly 46-tonne bearing capacity) is too short for Ryanair- or Wizz-Air-class narrowbody jets; a state-backed extension to about 2,180 m (to handle 130-150-seat jets versus the current 70-90-seat limit) has been discussed since the Hungarian state took its 51% stake in the operator in Dec 2021 but remains unbuilt as of this date. The 15,008 figure is the commonly cited 2024 full-year total; a separate bama.hu account tied to public-subsidy disclosures put 2024 traffic at 21,641, an unreconciled higher estimate.
