Operating hoursNot H24. Restricted-use hours only: VFR MON-SUN 0630-civil dusk, IFR MON-SUN 0730-civil dusk. Public/commercial (scheduled) use is PPR-only, activated by NOTAM with a minimum 18 HR advance notice; operators must request activation at least 24 HR ahead via operacions@lesu.cat. ATS (AFIS, callsign 'La Seu Informacion') runs PPR 24 HR; the 122.205 frequency is monitored H24 for self-reporting. Night use is reserved for commercial public-use flights only and cannot run concurrently with the adjacent H24 heliport.
TerminalsOne small terminal building handles scheduled/commercial traffic; general and business aviation passengers are processed through a separate FBO terminal (Andorra Aviation Group) on request.
Runways (1)
- 03/21 · 1,267 m / 4,157 ft · 28 m wide · Asphalt (PCN 17/F/A/W/T)
The 1,267 m runway and PPR-only operating model (no walk-up traffic; commercial activation needs an operator request at least 24 HR ahead, with NOTAM published a minimum 18 HR before) cap this to a small regional field: the AIP's published base limit is the ATR42, though approved local procedures also treat the ATR72 and Learjet 40/45 as higher code-letter aircraft the airport can handle, and no ILS exists (only an RNP/RNAV-GNSS approach to RWY 03, circling-only to RWY 21). There is no customs, immigration or health control on site, so despite serving Andorra some 12 km north the airport functions as a domestic Spanish field; the only scheduled service (2026) is Air Nostrum operating as Iberia Regional, twice weekly to Madrid and, on a seasonally-varying year-round schedule, to Palma de Mallorca. A 9-hangar expansion on 7,200 m2 for general/business aviation began in 2026. The AIP flags windshear on the RWY 21 final and frequent griffon vulture and red kite activity concentrated on RWY 03 departures and RWY 21 arrivals.
