Operating hoursAirport active roughly 0700-1900 local; not H24 and unattended overnight. Aduana de Guaymas (customs) handles import/export Mon-Fri 0800-1700, but its office is in downtown Guaymas and the district's dedicated air-cargo customs section is actually based at Ciudad Obregón Airport, not staffed full-time at GYM itself — international GA arrivals require PPR and advance coordination for customs/immigration.
TerminalsSingle-story passenger terminal with check-in, security screening, baggage claim and boarding gates with direct apron access (no jet bridges).

Small field serving Guaymas' fishing/shrimping port and Sea of Cortés/San Carlos tourism; sole scheduled carrier is Aéreo Servicio Guerrero, flying domestic routes to Guerrero Negro and Loreto only. Administration passed from ASA to GACM in Jan 2024 and then into AICM's merged 'Grupo Aeroportuario Marina' network in Jul 2025. Historically hosted Hughes Airwest (nonstop to Tucson from 1972), Aeromexico (via Hermosillo to Tucson from 1974) and US Airways (nonstop to Phoenix, ending 2012); a 2019 Aeromar plan to add Tucson service never launched. No scheduled international passenger service since 2012 — today's customs/immigration function (by PPR) serves general aviation and cargo only.

Aéreo Servicio Guerrero (ASG)
ASG, a Hermosillo-based Sonora regional carrier flying Cessna 208 Grand Caravan equipment, is the sole airline currently operating scheduled service at Guaymas (Tue/Sat route linking Guerrero Negro, Loreto and Los Mochis). No third-party ground handler is documented for MMGM; self-handling by ASG at this small station is an inference from the absence of any other handler, not confirmed by the carrier itself.
