Marie-Galante Airport (Grand-Bourg) GBJ / TFFM

A single-runway departmental airstrip on Marie-Galante island (part of the Guadeloupe archipelago, itself an EU outermost region outside Schengen), it had no scheduled commercial flights for roughly two decades before 2025. The Conseil Departemental de la Guadeloupe, which owns the field, funded its runway and terminal rehabilitation as the first phase of a roughly EUR4M departmental-aerodrome investment that it has described as shared across four fields (Marie-Galante, Terre-de-Haut, Baillif and La Desirade) rather than dedicated to Marie-Galante alone. Commercial service returned with a ceremonial first flight on 20 February 2025 and regular Air Inter Iles (operated with St Barth Executive) service from 31 March 2025, flying 9-seat Tecnam P2012 Traveller STOL twin-piston aircraft on the roughly 20-minute hop to Pointe-a-Pitre (PTP). The route is domestic within the Guadeloupe department (no customs or immigration on site) and is unrelated to, and unaffected by, the separate carrier Air Antilles, which the Pointe-a-Pitre commercial court placed into judicial liquidation on 27 April 2026. No official annual passenger total has been published for this recently reopened field; scheduled frequency has grown from about 3-4 rotations a week at launch toward up to about 10 rotations a week in the winter high season, but volumes remain small given the 9-seat aircraft in use. The paved 1,240 m runway is nominally rated to take twin-turboprops such as the ATR 42 or Dash 8-Q400, though only the light Tecnam is currently scheduled.
