No scheduled airline serves Braunschweig-Wolfsburg year-round; the closest thing to scheduled service is Private Wings' flights to Ingolstadt, Prague and Stuttgart and Reisebüro Schmidt's seasonal Mediterranean charter program running since 2015, and the current-season status of both should be confirmed directly with the airport. Customs and immigration are available on request only, via ••• or •••, so non-Schengen movements need advance coordination, and the single 08/26 runway carries ILS CAT I on RWY 26 only, with no instrument approach to RWY 08. Passenger traffic was 49,055 in 2025, down sharply from 63,803 in 2024 and 63,361 in 2023 (2024 and 2023 were essentially flat on each other); the 2025 decline should be rechecked against the airport near publish.
