TerminalsSingle international/domestic passenger terminal, being expanded from about 38,900 sqm toward roughly 57,000 sqm under a project launched 7 March 2025 (contractor: China Road and Bridge Corporation), with a further new terminal building targeted for completion in summer 2026 and some non-passenger terminal access restricted during construction
Runways (1)
  • 08/26 · 4,204 m / 13,792 ft · 55 m wide · Concrete · ILS ILS CAT II
IATA code changed from the Soviet-era 'FRU' (in use since 1974, from Bishkek's former name Frunze) to 'BSZ' on 9 August 2025 under IATA Resolution 763, after BSH/MNS/MAN were found unavailable; ICAO code UCFM is unchanged. The airport operator was renamed from Manas International Airport JSC to OJSC 'Airports of Kyrgyzstan' on 19 December 2024. The airport also hosted the US-run Transit Center at Manas (formerly Ganci Air Base), a coalition logistics hub supporting Afghanistan operations from December 2001 until the US lease ended in June 2014. The sole runway, 08/26, is rated ILS CAT II; as of late 2025 the operator, with contractor China Road and Bridge Corporation, was mid-project on runway, apron and lighting upgrades plus a CAT III installation intended to cut fog-related delays and diversions, so short-notice runway works and reduced-visibility diversions are plausible until that work completes. The pax figure (3.3M, 2024) represented 57.7% of Kyrgyzstan's 5.8M total airport passenger traffic that year; a full 2025 figure was not yet published at research time.

Asman Oil Company LLC (Airports of Kyrgyzstan subsidiary, formerly INTEK)
Primary into-plane aviation fuel supplier at Manas; wholly-owned subsidiary of JSC «Airports of Kyrgyzstan». Per the operator's own site (airport.kg/en/asman-oil-company), the company traded for roughly 20 years under the name INTEK before completing a rebrand to Asman Oil Company in 2026 — so the draft's separate 'OsOO Intek' entry is this same company under its old name, not a distinct operator. A new dedicated fuel-supply complex at Manas officially opened 26 May 2026 (self-financed construction begun May 2022), engineered for 8,000 m³ of aviation-fuel storage — corroborated by the operator's own news page, Kyrgyz outlet 24.kg, and CAPA/Centre for Aviation trade coverage. The company also runs fueling complexes at Osh and Tamchy (Issyk-Kul) airports, with a further complex under construction at Karakol, and operates an in-house fuel-quality laboratory. Contact details corrected from the draft's generic airport-switchboard number to the company's own published email and landline. · 24/7

Gazpromneft-Aero Kyrgyzstan LLC
Into-plane jet fuel and special-liquids supplier at Manas International Airport, operating since 2011 as a joint venture between Gazpromneft-Aero (Gazprom Neft's international airport-fuelling network) and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. Independently corroborated by Aviation News, RUAVIATION.com and Airside International coverage of Gazprom Neft's JET A-1 network expansion, which states refuelling at Manas is carried out by Gazpromneft-Aero Kyrgyzstan. Scope covers reception, storage, preparation and dispensing of aviation fuel, plus quality-laboratory control of aviation fuels/liquids. The listed phone number could not be — kept as reported rather than dropped, since the underlying provider relationship is well corroborated.

De-icing Seasonal
Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC – Manas International Airport (self-operated)
Kyrgyzstan's Civil Aviation State Agency (caa.kg) publishes methodical instructions governing aircraft anti-icing/de-icing protection at Kyrgyz aerodromes, and Bishkek's continental climate brings genuinely sub-zero winter temperatures and snow, so seasonal de-/anti-icing is a real operational need (not invented for a warm-climate station). No distinct named de-icing contractor or fluid-supply detail was found beyond the airport's own aerodrome/ramp service; marked unconfirmed at the specific operational-provider level. · seasonal (winter)
