Airport police ("Policía aeroportuaria y armerillo", Oficina L110, primer piso, zona pública) are listed as one of the official authorities present at the terminal on the airport's own "Autoridades" page; national police provide aviation-security/AVSEC and terminal policing, the standard model at Colombian airports.

Airplan's corporate "Negocios con Airplan" page advertises facilities/services for private aviation ("Aviación Privada FBO") and states it has "operadores certificados" across its six-airport network (José María Córdova/Rionegro, Olaya Herrera/Medellín, Montería, Quibdó, Carepa, Corozal). This claim is made at group level on Airplan's own site and is not confirmed as a station-specific FBO presence at Carepa.
