Airport contact
Sole commercial airport serving the Apurímac region; a high-altitude (11,300 ft) Andean strip surrounded by mountainous terrain relevant to density-altitude and turboprop-only operations. Commercial service was suspended 2020-2026 (COVID-19, then Dec-2022 protest damage) before ATSA Airlines relaunched scheduled Lima-Andahuaylas flights (Dash Q400) on 31 March 2026.

CORPAC S.A. – Aeropuerto de Andahuaylas
CORPAC (Corporación Peruana de Aeropuertos y Aviación Comercial) is confirmed by independent sources as the state operator of Andahuaylas Airport. At the small regional fields it runs, CORPAC provides ramp/apron and turnaround handling directly, since no independent handler (Talma, Swissport) is known to list Andahuaylas as a station — those groups' Peru footprints are concentrated at larger airports. De-facto ground handler for the field's sole scheduled carrier, ATSA Airlines (Lima-Andahuaylas, from March 2026).

CORPAC S.A. – Aeropuerto de Andahuaylas
CORPAC's general service scope at the airports it administers covers baggage and limited cargo processing, but no dedicated freight terminal or operator is documented at this small field (terminal capacity roughly 350 pax, single 2,500m runway); very likely limited to belly cargo on scheduled passenger flights.

Aviation security
Available
CORPAC S.A. – Aeropuerto de Andahuaylas
As the airport's state operator, CORPAC provides passenger screening and access control to restricted areas at Andahuaylas under Peru's national aviation-security program, consistent with its documented role at the other small airports it administers.

Passenger & crew transport
Unconfirmed · 2 providers
CORPAC S.A. – Aeropuerto de Andahuaylas
CORPAC's general practice at smaller administered airports is to bus passengers across the apron rather than have them walk to the aircraft; not independently confirmed specifically for Andahuaylas' single-stand apron and low traffic (8,337 pax in the last publicly reported year, 2017).

Taxi Andahuaylas Huantur
Local taxi operator said to serve Andahuaylas Airport (roughly 15 minutes to the city centre), which is plausible given there are no on-site car-rental counters; however this fact-check found no independent corroboration of the business itself (no OpenStreetMap, Facebook, or business-directory listing found under this name, and the quoted phone number does not match standard Peru landline or mobile formatting). No airline/crew contract is claimed regardless — a general public taxi service, not a dedicated crew provider.
