Airport contact
Sanirajak (renamed from Hall Beach in Feb 2020, Inuktitut for 'the shoreline') is an Inuit hamlet in the Qikiqtaaluk (Baffin) region served by Canadian North with scheduled links to Igloolik and Iqaluit. The gravel 12/30 strip was built in 1957 as the airfield for FOX Main, the DEW Line's Sector Control headquarters and logistics hub for the eastern Arctic; the site remains an active North Warning System support base and Long Range Radar station today.
