Fly-in-only Nunavik Inuit community (pop. ~453) on the Hudson Strait/Ungava Bay coast, with no road access to or between other Nunavik villages. Air Inuit provides scheduled turboprop service linking Quaqtaq to Kuujjuaq and neighboring Nunavik communities (Kangirsuk, Kangiqsujuaq, Salluit); the gravel strip has bird/dog hazards noted near an adjacent landfill.
