AIP referenceCAX3 — Canada Flight Supplement / NAV CANADA CFS (facility listed as abandoned effective 15 Mar 2007; Harbour Air continues informal seasonal float operations from the same Porpoise Bay site)
Operating hoursDaylight/VFR only, uncontrolled. Seasonal: Harbour Air's Sechelt service is summer-focused — direct Vancouver (YVR/downtown) service resumes late June and Sechelt-Nanaimo resumes early May each year, with reduced or no service in winter months. No published curfew or PPR requirement, but the water aerodrome itself has been delisted/marked abandoned in the NAV CANADA Canada Flight Supplement since 15 March 2007, so no formal published water-lane data or ATF exists.
TerminalsNo terminal building; Harbour Air passenger dock/shelter at #1-5674 Wharf Road, Porpoise Bay, downtown Sechelt.

IATA code YHS is used commercially for Harbour Air's seasonal seaplane service from the open-water dock at Porpoise Bay on Sechelt's Sunshine Coast; a separate paved general-aviation strip nearby, Sechelt-Gibsons Airport (TC LID CAP3, coords 49.4606/-123.7190, elev. ~95m/311ft), is also sometimes labelled 'Sechelt Aerodrome' but carries no scheduled airline service. The registered Porpoise Bay water aerodrome (CAX3) was itself delisted from the official NAV CANADA CFS in 2007, yet Harbour Air's Sechelt route — Canada's longest-running scheduled seaplane route to this community — continues to operate seasonally from the same bay.
