Gravel-strip aerodrome serving the remote fly-in Sahtu Dene community of Colville Lake (population ~160), 77 km north of the Arctic Circle; relocated 2.4 km from the community in 2012 when a longer runway and small terminal replaced the original 836 m strip. North-Wright Airways provides scheduled service linking Colville Lake to Fort Good Hope, Norman Wells, and Yellowknife. The Northwest Territories remains on Mountain Time with seasonal DST, unlike neighbouring Yukon, which abolished DST in March 2020 to stay on permanent Pacific Time.
