Pocatello Interagency Airtanker Base (Eastern Idaho Interagency Fire Center - BLM/USFS)
Full-service federal airtanker base at PIH; the only Great Basin base that is Very Large Air Tanker (VLAT) capable, serving as the retardant and fuel hub for the northeastern Great Basin and loading 1.2 million gallons of retardant following 2024 improvements.
