Border-crossing gateway for the twin-city Piedras Negras (Coahuila)–Eagle Pass (Texas) metro area; carries a Mexican customs/immigration post (aduana) reflecting genuine international port-of-entry status despite very light scheduled traffic. Sole current scheduled carrier is Aerus (Monterrey route, launched 2023) after Aeromar's Feb 2023 bankruptcy ended prior Mexico City (since 2014) and Ciudad Victoria service; also supports cargo and general/executive aviation for the northern Coahuila / south Texas region.

Aerus
Aerus (Aerotransportes Rafilher S.A. de C.V.) is the sole scheduled carrier at Piedras Negras, flying up to three daily Cessna Grand Caravan-type flights to Monterrey since April 2023. No third-party ground handler is identifiable at PDS; consistent with other small Coahuila border-region outstations, Aerus most likely self-handles its own check-in, ramp, and baggage operations here.

Servicios Estatales Aeroportuarios (SEA)
Servicios Estatales Aeroportuarios (SEA), the Coahuila state government's airport-services agency, holds Comisión Reguladora de Energía storage permit PL/19090/ALM/AE/2016 authorizing Turbosina (Jet A-1 equivalent) storage and supply at Piedras Negras International Airport (MMPG/PDS), supporting the daily Aerus flights to Monterrey. Since October 2021 the same state entity has also managed the airport itself under the name Administradora Coahuilense de Infraestructura y Transporte Aéreo, after management passed from federal operator ASA to the Coahuila state government.

Servicios Estatales Aeroportuarios (SEA)
The same SEA storage permit (PL/19090/ALM/AE/2016) also covers Gasavión (100LL avgas) at Piedras Negras for general-aviation piston traffic; unconfirmed current stock levels given the airport's very low GA activity, so availability should be confirmed in advance.
