Swissport ramp agents perform aircraft de-icing at LBA in cold weather (duties from 03:30). Confirmed by the Dec-2024 Unite de-icing pay dispute, which was specifically about a cold-weather de-icing payment for LBA ramp agents and was resolved before the planned 16-day strike.

Avionics/instrument shop — bench defect investigation, repair and installation of nav/comm, displays and autopilots; authorised Garmin, Avidyne and Trig Avionics dealer, also supports Genesys and Mid-Continent equipment. Covered by Part 145 approval; class rating unconfirmed.

Battery shop — in-house battery shop facility within fixed-wing engineering servicing aircraft batteries. Covered by Part 145 approval; class rating unconfirmed.

NDT — ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant inspection and magnetic particle inspection offered within fixed-wing engineering. Covered by Part 145 approval; D1-equivalent rating unconfirmed.

LBA has two small cargo sheds and Swissport is the airport's principal ground handler, so cargo/ramp freight handling is plausibly Swissport. However, no independent primary source explicitly names Swissport as the cargo handler; cargo volumes at LBA are very small. Treat as unconfirmed.
