The new international terminal opened 4 Sep 2025, launched by video link with President Putin during the Eastern Economic Forum; its first flight was the joint Aeroflot/Aurora service to Beijing on 7 Sep 2025, alongside continuing China/Southeast Asia links (Harbin, Sanya, Bangkok, Phuket, Cam Ranh) and new VietJet Air and Centrum Air (Uzbekistan) service, plus domestic trunk routes on Aurora, S7 and Khabarovsk Airlines. Both runways carry ILS: the shorter 3,500m parallel runway (05L/23R), reconstructed and reopened March 2021, carries the CAT II approach; the longer 4,000m main runway (05R/23L) carries CAT I. As with other Russian airports, Western carriers, fuel majors and MRO/handling providers have exited since 2022, with domestic and Chinese/CIS-region suppliers now covering these roles.
