Airport operator is the sole ground handler at all Mittarfeqarfiit stations; aircraft handling is mandatory and passenger handling on request, arranged via the aerodrome office. As of the April 2026 ops.group NAT-alternates update the airport is still ramping up: non-scheduled flights need PPR at least 12h before arrival, and BGQO was reported closed to fixed-wing ops except Air Greenland and military until further notice (apron control not yet CAA-signed-off). National Greenland fuel supplier (KNI/Polaroil); has operated a tank farm at Qaqortoq since 1949 and supplies aviation fuels (incl. Jet A-1) across Greenland to the AIP-listed locations. No independent source confirms Polaroil performs into-plane dispensing at Qaqortoq Airport itself; at Mittarfeqarfiit stations the airport operator dispenses fuel into-plane, with Polaroil/KNI as the upstream bulk supplier. AvGas reported unavailable at JJU in April 2026 (fuel truck damaged in transit).
