Air Greenland operates SEASONAL (winter-only) scheduled domestic lifeline helicopter passenger service under a Greenland Government service contract — typically operating roughly mid-November to mid-May — to Ilulissat (JAV), Qasigiannguit (JCH) and Aasiaat (JEG). In summer/autumn, when Disko Bay is navigable, the heliport is effectively closed and connections are made by Diskoline ferry. Service is currently scheduled in the 2026 timetable.
