Passenger and ramp ground handling at IAS for both Wizz Air (3-year renewal, 1 of 16 EU Wizz stations, confirmed 2026) and Ryanair (contract renewal running to October 2029; IAS is the 5th Romanian airport where Menzies handles Ryanair). Listed as a handler at IAS by AC-U-KWIK and on Menzies' own network/contacts pages.

FBO offering also lists AVGAS available on prior request (Jet A-1 into-plane is supplied by Eurospeed). The specific AIP figure of an operator-owned 180 m3 JET A1 installation could not be independently re-verified (AIP PDF not machine-readable); into-plane fuel at the field is corroborated only for Eurospeed.

Into-plane JET A-1 refuelling at IAS (LRIA) since 2011; operates its own stainless-steel storage (initial 80 m3 + added 120 m3) and multiple modern refuellers. Confirmed by Eurospeed's own locations page and Romanian press reporting an authorized expansion of a new ~360 m3 JET A1 depot at Iasi.

AIP claim of 3 operator de-icing vehicles with Type II fluid could not be independently re-verified from a second public source (AIP PDF was binary/unparseable; airport site is JS-rendered with no static service text). Plausible for a commercial airport but left unconfirmed; Wizz Air winter de-icing at IAS is separately handled by Menzies.

EASA Part-145 MRO; 3-bay, ~8,400 m2 heavy/base maintenance hangar at IAS opened September 2020 (first customer Pegasus Airlines). Performs heavy/base checks on Boeing 737 (all series) and Airbus A320 (ceo & neo) families. Expansion of further hangar capacity at Iasi reported in local press.

NDT shop — liquid/dye penetrant, magnetic-particle, ultrasonic, X-ray, eddy-current and infrared-thermography inspection; run as part of the back-shops attached to Aerostar's 3-bay, 8,400 sqm heavy-maintenance hangar on Aeroportului St, on airport grounds at Iași (confirmed: back shops plus a small machine shop attached to the hangar), supporting the hangar's A320/737 heavy-check work — whether Iași handles C-checks, D-checks, or both is not separately published versus the Bacău facility. Aerostar holds an EASA Part-145 D1 (Non-Destructive Testing) specialized-services rating under its Part-145 approval overseen by AACR (Romania's civil aviation authority); whether the D1-rated lab itself sits at Iași or at group HQ in Bacău is not separately published, so site-specific rating scope is unconfirmed.

Composite / structures / sheet-metal shop — back shops and a small machine shop attached to the Iași hangar (on airport grounds, 25B Aeroportului St), doing structural, metal and composite repair (incl. doors/hatches) in support of A320/737 heavy-check work. Aerostar's group-wide MRO Civil Aviation component-maintenance line also lists wheels and brakes, batteries/electrical, hydraulics and passenger-seat work, but those are not confirmed as physically sited at Iași versus the Bacău HQ, so they are excluded here; class rating for the Iași shop itself is unconfirmed.
