Small Norte de Minas municipal aerodrome that regained scheduled commercial service in December 2023, when Azul Conecta launched a subsidized three-times-weekly Cessna Grand Caravan route to Belo Horizonte/Confins under Brazil's regional-aviation support program; the short 1,480 m asphalt runway restricts operations to light turboprop equipment.

Azul Conecta (self-handled)
Azul Conecta is the sole scheduled operator at Salinas (IATA: IAL, ICAO: SNSS), flying a 9-seat Cessna Grand Caravan 3x/week (Mon/Wed/Fri) to Belo Horizonte/Confins since the route's Dec 6, 2023 launch; the Mon/Wed/Fri schedule is still current per the Prefeitura de Salinas' own flight-schedule page (salinas.mg.gov.br, updated Jun 2026). DECEA's ROTAER entry for SNSS (aisweb.decea.mil.br, checked Aug 2026) is minimal for this small aerodrome, listing only AD identification, elevation, single runway (18/36, 1480m asphalt) and FIR/jurisdiction, with no communications, services, or fuel field populated at all - i.e. no third-party ground handler or fuel supplier is registered at this field. No dedicated handling company appears on the airport's own municipal site (salinas.mg.gov.br/portal/turismo), in ANAC records, or in local aviation press. Ramp/passenger handling for the carrier's own flights is presumed self-performed by Azul Conecta station staff. Unconfirmed as a formally documented arrangement.
