Into-plane fuelling at DUS; acquired the staff/assets of Sun Jet Services at Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Cologne effective 1 Oct 2017, including operation of one of the DUS airport storage terminals.

Awarded 20-yr (extendable to 25) concession to build/operate a new ~9,000 m3 jet-fuel storage & distribution terminal at DUS (+41% capacity, replacing two existing plants); EUR70m investment, construction from Q3 2026, operations from Q2 2028, rail-fed from late 2029, SAF/sulphur-free-ready. Caters the Emirates Lounge at Düsseldorf (700 m2, ~115 guests, reopened after refurbishment Dec 2023) — monthly-changing hot/cold menu. Premium airline catering for clients such as Emirates. Scope at DUS is the EK lounge / EK flights rather than broad multi-airline catering.

Airport/Swissport JV (74.9% Swissport) operating the DUS cargo warehouse; operations started 17 Aug 2023, warehouse relocation completed 4 Sep 2023. Import/export & transit cargo handling. Düsseldorf is Swissport's 2nd-largest German air-cargo site. Addr: Zum Gut Heiligendonk 50, 40472 Düsseldorf.

DUS is a published station in Lufthansa Cargo's network (belly cargo via LH/Eurowings). Official station page lists handling, opening hours, export/import/transit products and temperature-controlled storage (+15/+25°C and +2/+8°C); DUS is not a first port of entry (customs entry via FRA). Aviation security: passenger, carry-on and hold-baggage screening on behalf of the Bundespolizei. Took over from Kötter on 1 Jun 2020; won the retender (awarded Nov 2024) for at least 4 more years; >1,500 staff. Confirmed via DSW/BDLS press release.
